A Facebook user, Goldy Vee Ude has taken to social media to call out the illicit and illegal activities carried out by Rivers state task force members who still carry out road operation despite being banned by the government.
According to Goldy, one of her students was a recent victim of the task force hooliganism. The victim, a JSS 3 student was on his way home from school after an exam when he was knocked down by a Siena bus whose steering was seized by the hooligans.
The driver was reportedly struggling with the thugs when he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the student who was walking by the pedestrian lane. The boy was rushed unconscious to the hospital, and he was confirmed to have lost most of his upper teeth, with his face and jaw mutilated.
One of the task force members was caught and handed over to the police in Ozuoba.
